If you’re a follower of our sites or our Facebook page, you’re most likely a huge dog lover. You’ve probably also heard of a very amazing Pit Bull named Fifty. With heavy hearts, we’re saddened to say that Fifty has passed away.
Fifty and his amazing story was an inspiration to millions of people and other dogs from across the entire world. His owner and rescuer named Kelly Michael took to Facebook to share the tragic news with all of his fans.
Fifty was well-known for having only two of his legs — his left front leg, and his left back leg. The other two legs were lost after he was shot by police. They thought, or assumed, rather, that he was dangerous.
After healing from his wounds, Fifty was taken to a high-kill animal shelter in Chicago. Thankfully — Kelly Michael took him into her home as a foster mom. His life was now going to be as a spokesdog for all Pit Bulls.
He even helped with a non-profit organization called Live Like Roo.
Fifty was going to inspire many and change the way that so many people viewed this misunderstood breed. If you knew who Fifty was, he certainly touched your heart.
